Acts 15:4-6

4 aWhen they came to Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church and bthe apostles and the elders, and cthey declared all that God had done with them. 5But some believers who belonged to dthe party of the Pharisees rose up and said, e“It is necessary fto circumcise them and to order them to keep the law of Moses.”

6 gThe hapostles and the elders were gathered together to consider this matter.

Acts 21:20-22

20And when they heard it, they iglorified God. And they said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed. They are all jzealous for the law, 21and they have been told about you that you teach all kthe Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, ltelling them mnot to circumcise their children or nwalk according to oour customs. 22What then is to be done? They will certainly hear that you have come.
