Acts 18:4-11

4And ahe reasoned in the synagogue bevery Sabbath, and tried to persuade Jews and Greeks.

5 cWhen Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia, Paul dwas occupied with the word, etestifying to the Jews that the Christ was fJesus. 6And when they opposed and reviled him, ghe shook out his garments and said to them, hYour blood be on your own heads! iI am innocent. jFrom now on I will go to the Gentiles.” 7And he left there and went to the house of a man named Titius kJustus, la worshiper of God. His house was next door to the synagogue. 8 mCrispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed in the Lord, together nwith his entire household. And many of the Corinthians hearing Paul believed and were baptized. 9And the Lord said to Paul oone night in pa vision, q“Do not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not be silent, 10 rfor I am with you, and sno one will attack you to harm you, for tI have many in this city who are my people.” 11And he stayed a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

1 Corinthians 3:9-10

9For we are uGod’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, vGod’s building.

10 wAccording to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a xfoundation, and ysomeone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it.

1 Corinthians 4:14-15

14I do not write these things zto make you ashamed, but to admonish you aaas my beloved children. 15For abthough you have countless
Greek  you have ten thousand
guides in Christ, you do not have many fathers. For adI became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

1 Corinthians 9:1

Paul Surrenders His Rights

1 aeAm I not free? afAm I not an apostle? agHave I not seen Jesus our Lord? ahAre not you my workmanship in the Lord?

1 Corinthians 9:7-11

7 aiWho serves as a soldier at his own expense? ajWho plants a vineyard without eating any of its fruit? Or who tends a flock without getting some of the milk?

8Do I say these things on human authority? Does not the Law say the same? 9For it is written in the Law of Moses, ak“You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned? 10Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written alfor our sake, because amthe plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop. 11 anIf we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material things from you?

1 Corinthians 15:1-11

The Resurrection of Christ

1Now I would remind you, brothers,
Or  brothers and sisters; also verses 6, 31, 50, 58
of the gospel apI preached to you, which you received, aqin which you stand,
2and by which aryou are being saved, if you ashold fast to the word I preached to youatunless you believed in vain.

3For auI delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died avfor our sins awin accordance with the Scriptures, 4that he was buried, that he was raised axon the third day ayin accordance with the Scriptures, 5and that azhe appeared to Cephas, then bato the twelve. 6Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. 7Then he appeared to bbJames, then bcto all the apostles. 8Last of all, as to one untimely born, bdhe appeared also to me. 9For beI am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because bfI persecuted the church of God. 10But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, bgI worked harder than any of them, bhthough it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me. 11Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.

2 Corinthians 10:14-15

14For we are not overextending ourselves, as though we did not reach you. biFor we were the first to come all the way to you with the gospel of Christ. 15We do not boast beyond limit in the labors of others. But our hope is that bjas your faith increases, our area of influence among you may be bkgreatly enlarged,
