Acts 18:4-5

4And ahe reasoned in the synagogue bevery Sabbath, and tried to persuade Jews and Greeks.

5 cWhen Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia, Paul dwas occupied with the word, etestifying to the Jews that the Christ was fJesus.

1 Corinthians 1:23-24

23but we preach Christ gcrucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, 24but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ hthe power of God and ithe wisdom of God.

1 Corinthians 2:2-7

2For I decided to know nothing among you except jJesus Christ and him crucified. 3And kI was with you lin weakness and in fear and much trembling, 4and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of mthe Spirit and of power, 5so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men
The Greek word anthropoi can refer to both men and women
but oin the power of God.

Wisdom from the Spirit

6Yet among pthe mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not qa wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, rwho are doomed to pass away. 7But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, swhich God decreed before the ages for our glory.

1 Corinthians 15:3-11

3For tI delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died ufor our sins vin accordance with the Scriptures, 4that he was buried, that he was raised won the third day xin accordance with the Scriptures, 5and that yhe appeared to Cephas, then zto the twelve. 6Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. 7Then he appeared to aaJames, then abto all the apostles. 8Last of all, as to one untimely born, ache appeared also to me. 9For adI am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because aeI persecuted the church of God. 10But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, afI worked harder than any of them, agthough it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me. 11Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.

Galatians 1:6-12

No Other Gospel

6I am astonished that you are ahso quickly deserting aihim who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to aja different gospel 7 aknot that there is another one, but althere are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8But even if we or aman angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, anlet him be accursed. 9As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, aolet him be accursed.

10For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying apto please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a aqservant
Or slave; Greek bondservant
of Christ.

Paul Called by God

11For asI would have you know, brothers, that atthe gospel that was preached by me is not man’s gospel.
Greek not according to man
12 avFor I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it awthrough a revelation of Jesus Christ.
