6 And when they opposed and reviled him, ^ahe shook out his garments and said to them, ^b“Your blood be on your own heads! ^cI am innocent. ^dFrom now on I will go to the Gentiles.”

Acts 22:18-21

18 and saw him saying to me, ^e‘Make haste and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about me.’ 19 And I said, ‘Lord, they themselves know that in one synagogue after another ^fI imprisoned and ^gbeat those who believed in you. 20 And when the blood of Stephen ^hyour witness was being shed, ⁱI myself was standing by and ^japproving and ^kwatching over the garments of those who killed him.’ 21 And he said to me, ‘Go, for I will send you ^lfar away to the Gentiles.’”
