Paul in Ephesus
1And it happened that while aApollos was at Corinth, Paul passed bthrough the inland ▼▼Greek upper (that is, highland)
country and came to Ephesus. There he found some disciples. 1 Corinthians 1:12
12What I mean is that deach one of you says, “I follow Paul,” or “I follow eApollos,” or “I follow fCephas,” or “I follow Christ.”1 Corinthians 3:5-6
5What then is Apollos? What is Paul? gServants through whom you believed, has the Lord assigned to each. 6 iI planted, jApollos watered, kbut God gave the growth.1 Corinthians 4:6
6I have applied all these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, brothers, ▼▼Or brothers and sisters
that you may learn by us not to go beyond what is written, that none of you may mbe puffed up in favor of one against another. 1 Corinthians 16:12
Final Instructions
12Now concerning nour brother Apollos, I strongly urged him to visit you with the other brothers, but it was not at all his will ▼▼Or God’s will for him
to come now. He will come when he has opportunity. Titus 3:13
13Do your best to speed Zenas the lawyer and pApollos on their way; see that they lack nothing.
