Paul in Macedonia and Greece

1After the uproar ceased, Paul sent for the disciples, and after encouraging them, he said farewell and edeparted for Macedonia. 2When he had gone through those regions and had given them much encouragement, he came to Greece. 3There he spent three months, and when fa plot was made against him by the Jews
Greek Ioudaioi probably refers here to Jewish religious leaders, and others under their influence, in that time; also verse 19
as he was about to set sail for Syria, he decided to return through Macedonia.

2 Corinthians 1:15-17

15Because I was sure of this, hI wanted to come to you first, so that you might have ia second jexperience of grace. 16I wanted to visit you kon my way to Macedonia, and to come back to you from Macedonia and have you send me on my way to Judea. 17Was I vacillating when I wanted to do this? Do I make my plans laccording to the flesh, ready to say “Yes, yesandNo, no” at the same time?
