Acts 2:24-32

24 aGod raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because bit was not possible for him to be held by it. 25For David says concerning him,

c“‘I saw the Lord always before me,
for he is at my right hand that I may not be shaken;
26therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced;
my flesh also will dwell din hope.
27For you will not abandon my soul to eHades,
for let your gHoly One hsee corruption.
28You have made known to me the paths of life;
you will make me full of gladness with your presence.’
29Brothers, I may say to you with confidence about ithe patriarch David jthat he both died and kwas buried, and lhis tomb is with us to this day. 30 mBeing therefore a prophet, and knowing that nGod had sworn with an oath to him that he would set one of his descendants on his throne, 31he foresaw and spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that ohe was not abandoned to Hades, nor did his flesh see corruption. 32This Jesus pGod raised up, qand of that we all are witnesses.

Acts 13:35-37

35Therefore he says also in another psalm,

r“‘You will not let your Holy One see corruption.’
36For David, after he had sserved the purpose of God in his own generation, tfell asleep and uwas laid with his fathers and saw corruption, 37but he whom vGod raised up did not see corruption.
