Acts 2:29-37

29Brothers, I may say to you with confidence about athe patriarch David bthat he both died and cwas buried, and dhis tomb is with us to this day. 30 eBeing therefore a prophet, and knowing that fGod had sworn with an oath to him that he would set one of his descendants on his throne, 31he foresaw and spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that ghe was not abandoned to Hades, nor did his flesh see corruption. 32This Jesus hGod raised up, iand of that we all are witnesses. 33 jBeing therefore kexalted at the right hand of God, and having received from lthe Father mthe promise of the Holy Spirit, nhe has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing. 34For oDavid did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself says,

p“‘The Lord said to my Lord,
Sit at my right hand,
35until I make your enemies your footstool.”’
36Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that qGod has made him rboth Lord and Christ, this Jesus swhom you crucified.”

37Now when tthey heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, uwhat shall we do?”
