10While we were staying for many days, a prophet named cAgabus came down from Judea. 11And coming to us, he dtook Paul’s belt and bound his own feet and hands and said, e“Thus says the Holy Spirit, f‘This is how the Jews ▼▼Greek Ioudaioi probably refers here to Jewish religious leaders, and others under their influence, in that time
at Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt and hdeliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’” 12When we heard this, we and the people there iurged him not to go up to Jerusalem.
