Acts 20:23-24

23 except that ^athe Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city that ^bimprisonment and ^cafflictions await me. 24 But ^dI do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only ^eI may finish my course and ^fthe ministry ^gthat I received from the Lord Jesus, ^hto testify to ⁱthe gospel of ^jthe grace of God.

2 Corinthians 4:17

17 For ^kthis light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,

2 Corinthians 6:4-10

2 Corinthians 11:23-27

23 Are they ^agservants of Christ? ^ahI am a better one—I am talking like a madman—with far greater labors, ^aifar more imprisonments, ^ajwith countless beatings, and ^akoften near death. 24 Five times I received at the hands of the Jews the ^alforty lashes less one. 25 Three times I was ^ambeaten with rods. ^anOnce I was stoned.
