Acts 20:23-24

2 Corinthians 4:17

2 Corinthians 11:23-27

23Are they agservants of Christ? ahI am a better one—I am talking like a madmanwith far greater labors, aifar more imprisonments, ajwith countless beatings, and akoften near death. 24Five times I received at the hands of the Jews the alforty lashes less one. 25Three times I was ambeaten with rods. anOnce I was stoned. 2 Timothy 4:16-18

So bfI was rescued bgfrom the lion’s mouth. 18The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. bhTo him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
