Romans 16:17-18

Final Instructions and Greetings

17I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles dcontrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; eavoid them. 18For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but ftheir own appetites,
Greek  their own belly
and hby smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.

2 Corinthians 11:12-15

12And what I am doing I will continue to do, iin order to undermine the claim of those who would like to claim that in their boasted mission they work on the same terms as we do. 13For such men are jfalse apostles, kdeceitful workmen, ldisguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as man angel of light. 15So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as nservants of righteousness. oTheir end will correspond to their deeds.

Ephesians 4:14

14so that we may no longer be children, ptossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in qdeceitful schemes.

2 Thessalonians 2:10-12

10and with all wicked deception for rthose who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11Therefore sGod sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe twhat is false, 12in order that all may be condemned uwho did not believe the truth but vhad pleasure in unrighteousness.
