Acts 20:31-34

31 Therefore ^abe alert, remembering that ^bfor three years I did not cease night or day ^cto admonish every one ^dwith tears. 32 And now ^eI commend you to God and to ^fthe word of his grace, which is able to ^gbuild you up and to give you ^hthe inheritance among all those who are sanctified. 33 ⁱI coveted no one’s silver or gold or apparel. 34 ^jYou yourselves know that ^kthese hands ministered to my necessities and ^lto those who were with me.

1 Corinthians 9:15

15 But ^mI have made no use of any of these rights, nor am I writing these things to secure any such provision. For I would rather die than have anyone ⁿdeprive me of my ground for boasting.

1 Corinthians 9:18

18 What then is my reward? That in my preaching ^oI may present the gospel free of charge, so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel.

2 Corinthians 11:7-10

7 Or ^pdid I commit a sin in humbling myself so that you might be exalted, because ^qI preached God’s gospel to you free of charge? 8 I robbed other churches by accepting support from them in order to serve you. 9 And when I was with you and was ^rin need, ^sI did not burden anyone, for the brothers who came from Macedonia ^tsupplied my need. So I refrained and will refrain ^ufrom burdening you in any way. 10 ^vAs the truth of Christ is in me, this boasting of mine ^wwill not be silenced in the regions of Achaia.

2 Corinthians 12:13-14

13 For in what were you less favored than the rest of the churches, except that ^xI myself did not burden you? Forgive me this wrong!

14 Here ^yfor the third time I am ready to come to you. And I will not be a burden, for ^zI seek not what is yours but you. For ^aachildren are not obligated to save up for their parents, but ^abparents for their children.

1 Thessalonians 2:6-9

6 ^acNor did we seek glory from people, whether from you or from others, ^adthough we could have made ^aedemands as ^afapostles of Christ. 7 But we were ^aggentle ^{▼▼Some manuscripts infants} among you, ^ailike a nursing mother taking care of her own children. 8 So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God ^ajbut also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us.

9 For you remember, brothers, ^akour labor and toil: we ^alworked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, while we proclaimed to you the gospel of God.

2 Thessalonians 3:8-9

8 nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but ^amwith toil and labor we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you. 9 It was ^annot because we do not have that right, but to give you in ourselves ^aoan example to imitate.
