Acts 3:25

25 aYou are the sons of the prophets and of bthe covenant that God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, cAnd in your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.’

Galatians 3:15-17

The Law and the Promise

15 dTo give a human example, brothers:
Or  brothers and sisters
feven with a man-made covenant, no one annuls it or adds to it once it has been ratified.
16Now gthe promises were made hto Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, iAnd to your offspring,” who is Christ. 17This is what I mean: the law, which came j430 years afterward, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as kto make the promise void.

Hebrews 6:13-18

The Certainty of God’s Promise

13For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater by whom to swear, lhe swore by himself, 14saying, mSurely I will bless you and multiply you.” 15And thus Abraham,
Greek he
ohaving patiently waited, obtained the promise.
16For people swear by something greater than themselves, and in all their disputes pan oath is final for confirmation. 17So when God desired to show more convincingly to qthe heirs of the promise rthe unchangeable character of his purpose, she guaranteed it with an oath, 18so that by two unchangeable things, in which tit is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope uset before us.
