Acts 3:25

25 aYou are the sons of the prophets and of bthe covenant that God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, cAnd in your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.’

Romans 4:13-18

The Promise Realized Through Faith

13For dthe promise to Abraham and his offspring ethat he would be heir of the world did not come through the law but through the righteousness of faith. 14 fFor if it is the adherents of the law who are to be the heirs, faith is null and the promise is void. 15For gthe law brings wrath, but hwhere there is no law ithere is no transgression.

16That is why it depends on faith, jin order that the promise may rest on grace and kbe guaranteed to all his offspringnot only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, lwho is the father of us all, 17as it is written, m“I have made you the father of many nations”—in the presence of the God in whom he believed, nwho gives life to the dead and calls into existence othe things that do not exist. 18In hope he believed against hope, that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been told, pSo shall your offspring be.”

Romans 9:8-9

8This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but qthe children of the promise are counted as offspring. 9For this is what the promise said: rAbout this time next year I will return, and Sarah shall have a son.”

Galatians 3:29

29And sif you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, theirs according to promise.

Galatians 4:23

23But uthe son of the slave was born according to the flesh, while vthe son of the free woman was born through promise.
