Acts 4:25-28

25who through the mouth of our father David, your servant,
Or child; also verses 27, 30
said by the Holy Spirit,

b“‘Why did the Gentiles rage,
and the peoples plot in vain?
26The kings of the earth set themselves,
and cthe rulers were gathered together,
against the Lord and against his dAnointed
Or Christ

27for truly in this city there were gathered together against your fholy servant Jesus, gwhom you anointed, both hHerod and iPontius Pilate, along jwith the Gentiles and kthe peoples of Israel, 28 lto do whatever your hand and myour plan had predestined to take place.

Acts 13:27-29

27For those who live in Jerusalem and their rulers, because nthey did not recognize him nor understand othe utterances of the prophets, which are read every Sabbath, pfulfilled them by condemning him. 28And qthough they found in him no guilt worthy of death, rthey asked Pilate to have him executed. 29And when sthey had carried out all that was written of him, tthey took him down from uthe tree and laid him in a tomb.
