Paul and Barnabas Separate
36And after some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us return and visit tthe brothers uin every city where we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are.” 37Now Barnabas wanted to take with them vJohn called Mark. 38But Paul thought best not to take with them one wwho had withdrawn from them in Pamphylia and had not gone with them to the work. 39And there arose xa sharp disagreement, so that they separated from each other. yBarnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus,1 Corinthians 9:6

13And the rest of the Jews acted hypocritically along with him, so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy.
