Acts 4:36-37

36Thus Joseph, who was also called by the apostles Barnabas (which means ason of encouragement), a Levite, a native of Cyprus, 37sold a field that belonged to him and brought the money and blaid it at the apostlesfeet.

Acts 9:27

 Niger is a Latin word meaning black, or dark
Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen a lifelong friend of lHerod the tetrarch, and Saul.
2While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, mthe Holy Spirit said, n“Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul ofor the work to which I have called them.” 3Then after fasting and ppraying they laid their hands on them and qsent them off.

Paul and Barnabas Separate

36And after some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us return and visit wthe brothers xin every city where we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are.” 37Now Barnabas wanted to take with them yJohn called Mark. 38But Paul thought best not to take with them one zwho had withdrawn from them in Pamphylia and had not gone with them to the work. 39And there arose aaa sharp disagreement, so that they separated from each other. abBarnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus,
