Acts 7:59-60

59 And as they were stoning Stephen, ^ahe called out, “Lord Jesus, ^breceive my spirit.” 60 And ^cfalling to his knees he cried out with a loud voice, ^d“Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” And when he had said this, ^ehe fell asleep.

1 Timothy 3:16

16 Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness:

Revelation of John 5:9-14

9 And they sang ⁿa new song, saying,

“Worthy are you to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
for ^oyou were slain, and by your blood ^pyou ransomed people for God
from ^qevery tribe and language and people and nation,
10 and you have made them ^ra kingdom and priests to our God,
and they shall reign on the earth.”
11 Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering ^smyriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice,

^t“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might
and honor and glory and blessing!”
13 And I heard ^uevery creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying,

“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”
14 And the four living creatures ^vsaid, “Amen!” and the elders ^wfell down and worshiped.
