9Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us nrely not on ourselves obut on God pwho raises the dead. 10 qHe delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. rOn him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again.

2 Timothy 4:17-18

17But sthe Lord stood by me and tstrengthened me, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and uall the Gentiles might hear it. So vI was rescued wfrom the lion’s mouth. 18The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. xTo him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Hebrews 13:5-6
