Saul Ravages the Church

1And aSaul bapproved of his execution.

And there arose on that day a great persecution against the church in Jerusalem, and cthey were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.

Acts 9:24-25

24but their dplot became known to Saul. eThey were watching the gates day and night in order to kill him, 25but his disciples took him by night and flet him down through an opening in the wall,

Greek Ioudaioi probably refers here to Jewish religious leaders, and others under their influence, in that time
incited the devout jwomen of high standing and the leading men of the city, kstirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and ldrove them out of their district.
51But they mshook off the dust from their feet against them and went to Iconium.

Acts 14:6-7

6they learned of it and nfled to oLystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and to the surrounding country, 7and there they continued to preach the gospel.

Acts 14:19-20

19 pBut Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and having persuaded the crowds, qthey stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead. 20But when the disciples gathered about him, he rose up and entered the city, and on the next day he went on with Barnabas to Derbe.

Acts 17:10

immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea, and when they arrived they twent into the Jewish synagogue.

Acts 17:14

14Then the brothers uimmediately sent Paul off on his way to the sea, but Silas and vTimothy remained there.

Acts 20:1

Paul in Macedonia and Greece

1After the uproar ceased, Paul sent for the disciples, and after encouraging them, he said farewell and wdeparted for Macedonia.
