Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch

26Now aan angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Rise and go toward the south
Or  go at about noon
to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is a desert place.
27And he rose and went. And there was an cEthiopian, a deunuch, a court official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, ewho was in charge of all her treasure. fHe had come to Jerusalem to worship 28and was returning, seated in his chariot, and he was reading the prophet Isaiah. 29And the Spirit said to Philip, “Go over and join this chariot.” 30So Philip ran to him and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet and asked, “Do you understand what you are reading?” 31And he said, gHow can I, unless someone hguides me?” And ihe invited Philip to come up and sit with him.

Acts 9:38

38Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him, urging him, j“Please come to us without delay.”

Acts 10:32-33

32Send therefore to Joppa and ask for Simon who is called Peter. He is lodging in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea.’ 33So I sent for you at once, and you have been kind enough to come. Now therefore we are all here in the presence of God to hear all that you have been commanded by the Lord.”

Acts 11:13-14

13And he told us how he had seen the angel stand in his house and say, ‘Send to Joppa and bring Simon who is called Peter; 14 khe will declare to you a message by which lyou will be saved, you and all your household.’

Romans 10:14-15

14How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him mof whom they have never heard?
Or  him whom they have never heard
And how are they to hear owithout someone preaching?
15And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, pHow beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
