Simon the Magician Believes

9 But there was a man named Simon, ^awho had previously practiced magic in the city and amazed the people of Samaria, ^bsaying that he himself was somebody great. 10 They all paid attention to him, from the least to the greatest, saying, ^c“This man is the power of God that is called ^dGreat.” 11 And they paid attention to him because for a long time he had ^eamazed them with his magic.

16 As we were going to ^fthe place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had ^ga spirit of ^hdivination and ⁱbrought her owners much gain by fortune-telling. 17 She followed Paul and us, ^jcrying out, “These men are ^kservants ^{▼▼Greek bondservants} of ^mthe Most High God, who proclaim to you ⁿthe way of salvation.” 18 And this she kept doing for many days.
