Acts 9:15

15But the Lord said to him, Go, for ahe is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name bbefore the Gentiles and ckings and the children of Israel.

1 Thessalonians 4:3-4

3For this is the will of God, dyour sanctification:
Or  your holiness
fthat you abstain from sexual immorality;
4that each one of you know how to control his own gbody
Or  how to take a wife for himself; Greek  how to possess his own vessel
in holiness and ihonor,

2 Timothy 2:20-21

20Now in ja great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and clay, ksome for honorable use, some for dishonorable. 21Therefore, lif anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable,
Greek  from these things
he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, nready for every good work.

1 Peter 3:17

17For oit is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil.
