1 acAm I not free? adAm I not an apostle? aeHave I not seen Jesus our Lord? afAre not you my workmanship in the Lord?

1 Corinthians 9:16-18

16For if I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. For agnecessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! 17For if I do this of my own will, I have a reward, but if not of my own will, I am still entrusted with aha stewardship. 18What then is my reward? That in my preaching aiI may present the gospel free of charge, so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel.

1 Corinthians 15:8-10

8Last of all, as to one untimely born, ajhe appeared also to me. 9For akI am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because alI persecuted the church of God. 10But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, amI worked harder than any of them, anthough it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.
