3 aNow as he went on his way, he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven shone around him.

5And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” And he said, I am Jesus, bwhom you are persecuting.

Acts 22:14-21

17 u“When I had returned to Jerusalem and vwas praying in the temple, I fell into wa trance 18and saw him saying to me, xMake haste and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about me.’ 19And I said, ‘Lord, they themselves know that in one synagogue after another yI imprisoned and zbeat those who believed in you. 20And when the blood of Stephen aayour witness was being shed, abI myself was standing by and acapproving and adwatching over the garments of those who killed him.’ 21And he said to me, Go, for I will send you aefar away to the Gentiles.’

Acts 23:11

11 afThe following night agthe Lord stood by him and said, ah“Take courage, for aias you have testified to the facts about me in Jerusalem, so you must ajtestify also in Rome.”

Acts 26:16-18

16But rise and akstand upon your feet, for I have appeared to you for this purpose, alto appoint you as a servant and witness to the things in which you have seen me and to those in which I will appear to you, 17 amdelivering you from your people and from the Gentilesanto whom I aoam sending you 18 apto open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from aqthe power of Satan to God, that they may receive arforgiveness of sins and asa place among those who are sanctified atby faith in me.’
