Acts 9:36

Dorcas Restored to Life

36Now there was in aJoppa a disciple named Tabitha, which, translated, means Dorcas.
The Aramaic name  Tabitha and the Greek name  Dorcas both mean gazelle
She was full of cgood works and acts of charity.

1 Corinthians 15:58

58 dTherefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in ethe work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord fyour labor is not in vain.

17comfort your hearts and sestablish them in every good work and word.

2 Timothy 3:17

17that tthe man of God
That is, a messenger of God (the phrase echoes a common Old Testament expression)
may be complete, vequipped wfor every good work.
