1 Corinthians 4:10-13

10 bWe are fools for Christ’s sake, but cyou are wise in Christ. dWe are weak, but you are strong. You are held in honor, but we in disrepute. 11To the present hour ewe hunger and thirst, we are poorly dressed and fbuffeted and ghomeless, 12and we hlabor, working with our own hands. iWhen reviled, we bless; jwhen persecuted, we endure; 13when slandered, we entreat. kWe have become, and are still, like the scum of the world, lthe refuse of all things.

2 Corinthians 4:10-11

10 malways carrying in the body the death of Jesus, nso that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. 11For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesussake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

2 Corinthians 11:23-30

23Are they oservants of Christ? pI am a better one—I am talking like a madmanwith far greater labors, qfar more imprisonments, rwith countless beatings, and soften near death. 24Five times I received at the hands of the Jews the tforty lashes less one. 25Three times I was ubeaten with rods. vOnce I was stoned. Three times I wwas shipwrecked; a night and a day I was adrift at sea; 26on frequent journeys, in danger from rivers, danger from robbers, xdanger from my own people, ydanger from Gentiles, zdanger in the city, danger in the wilderness, danger at sea, danger from false brothers; 27 aain toil and hardship, through many a sleepless night, abin hunger and thirst, often without food,
Or  often in fasting
in cold and exposure.
28And, apart from other things, there is the daily pressure on me of my anxiety for adall the churches. 29 aeWho is weak, and I am not weak? Who is made to fall, and I am not indignant?

30 afIf I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.

Philippians 1:20

20as it is my eager expectation and hope agthat I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full ahcourage now as always Christ aiwill be honored in my body, ajwhether by life or by death.

10 akthat I may know him and althe power of his resurrection, and ammay share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,
