Amos 3:9-10

9 Proclaim to the strongholds in ^aAshdod
and to the strongholds in the land of Egypt,
and say, “Assemble yourselves on ^bthe mountains of Samaria,
and see the great tumults within her,
and ^cthe oppressed in her midst.”
10 “They do not know how to do right,” declares the Lord,
^d“those who store up violence and robbery in their strongholds.”

Amos 3:12

12 Thus says the Lord: ^e“As the shepherd rescues from the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear, ^fso shall the people of Israel ^gwho dwell in Samaria be rescued, with the corner of a couch and part ^{▼▼The meaning of the Hebrew word is uncertain} of a bed.

Amos 3:15

15 ⁱI will strike ^jthe winter house along with ^kthe summer house,
and ^lthe houses of ivory shall perish,
and the great houses ^{▼▼Or and many houses} shall come to an end,”

declares the Lord.
