11 “I overthrew some of you,
^aas when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah,
and you were ^bas a brand ^{▼▼That is, a burning stick} plucked out of the burning;
^dyet you did not return to me,”

declares the Lord.

Zephaniah 2:9

9 Therefore, ^eas I live,” declares the Lord of hosts,
the God of Israel,

a land possessed by nettles and salt pits,
and a waste forever.
The remnant of my people shall plunder them,

Matthew 11:23-24
