Amos 5:7

7 O ^ayou who turn justice to wormwood ^{▼▼Or to bitter fruit}
and cast down righteousness to the earth!

Amos 5:10-12

10 ^cThey hate him who reproves ^din the gate,
and they ^eabhor him who speaks the truth.
11 Therefore because you ^ftrample on ^{▼▼Or you tax} the poor
and you exact taxes of grain from him,
^hyou have built houses of hewn stone,
but you shall not dwell in them;
ⁱyou have planted pleasant vineyards,
but you shall not drink their wine.
12 For I know how many are your transgressions
and how great are your sins—
you who afflict the righteous, who ^jtake a bribe,
and ^kturn aside the needy ^lin the gate.
