Amos 8:2

2 And he said, ^a“Amos, what do you see?” And I said, ^b“A basket of summer fruit.” Then the Lord said to me,

^c“The end ^{▼▼The Hebrew words for end and summer fruit sound alike} has come upon my people Israel;
I will never again pass by them.

Amos 8:10

10 ^eI will turn your feasts into mourning
and all your songs into lamentation;
^fI will bring sackcloth on every waist
^gand baldness on every head;
^hI will make it like the mourning for an only son
and the end of it like a bitter day.

Matthew 24:6

6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you ⁱare not alarmed, for this ^jmust take place, but the end is not yet.

Matthew 24:13-14
