Amos 8:5-6

5 saying, “When will ^athe new moon be over,
that we may sell grain?
And ^bthe Sabbath,
that we may offer wheat for sale,
that we may make ^cthe ephah small and the shekel ^{▼▼An ephah was about 3/5 bushel or 22 liters; a shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams} great
and deal deceitfully with false balances,
6 that we may buy the poor for ^esilver
and the needy for a pair of sandals
and sell the chaff of the wheat?”

Malachi 1:13

13 But you say, ^f‘What a weariness this is,’ and you snort at it, says the Lord of hosts. ^gYou bring what has been taken by violence or is lame or sick, and this you bring as your offering! Shall I accept that from your hand? says the Lord.
