Amos 9:11-12

The Restoration of Israel

11 “In that day ^aI will raise up
the booth of David that is fallen
and repair its breaches,
and raise up its ruins
and rebuild it as in the days of old,
12 ^bthat they may possess the remnant of Edom
and ^call the nations who are called by my name,” ^{▼▼Hebrew; Septuagint (compare Acts 15:17) that the remnant of mankind and all the nations who are called by my name may seek the Lord}
declares the Lord who does this.

Luke 1:31-33

31 And behold, ^eyou will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and ^fyou shall call his name Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of ^gthe Most High. And the Lord God ^hwill give to him the throne of ⁱhis father David, 33 and he will reign over the house of Jacob ^jforever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.”
