1 Corinthians 15:50-54

Mystery and Victory

50I tell you this, brothers: hflesh and blood icannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51Behold! I tell you a mystery. jWe shall not all sleep, kbut we shall all be changed, 52in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For lthe trumpet will sound, and mthe dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. 53For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and nthis mortal body must put on immortality. 54When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:

oDeath is swallowed up in victory.”

Philippians 3:20-21

20But pour citizenship is in heaven, and qfrom it we rawait a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21who will transform sour lowly body tto be like his glorious body, uby the power that enables him even vto subject all things to himself.
