Daniel 2:38-40

38and into whose hand he has given, wherever they dwell, the children of man, athe beasts of the field, and the birds of the heavens, making you rule over them allyou are bthe head of gold. 39 cAnother kingdom inferior to you shall arise after you, and yet a third kingdom dof bronze, ewhich shall rule over all the earth. 40And fthere shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron, because iron gbreaks to pieces and shatters all things. And like iron that crushes, it shall hbreak and crush all these.

Daniel 7:3-7

3And four great beasts icame up out of the sea, different from one another. 4The first was like a lion and had eagleswings. Then as I looked its wings were plucked off, and it was lifted up from the ground and made to stand on two feet like a man, and the mind of a man was given to it. 5And behold, janother beast, a second one, like a bear. It was raised up on one side. It had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth; and it was told, ‘Arise, devour much flesh.’ 6After this I looked, and behold, another, like a kleopard, with four wings of a bird on its back. And the beast had four heads, and ldominion was given to it. 7After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, mterrifying and dreadful and exceedingly strong. It had great iron teeth; nit devoured and broke in pieces oand stamped what was left with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and pit had ten horns.
