Matthew 6:25-33

Do Not Be Anxious

25 bTherefore I tell you, cdo not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 dLook at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. eAre you not of more value than they? 27And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his fspan of life?
Or  a single cubit to his stature; a cubit was about 18 inches or 45 centimeters
28And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29yet I tell you, heven Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, iO you of little faith? 31Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ orWhat shall we drink?’ orWhat shall we wear?’ 32For jthe Gentiles seek after all these things, and kyour heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33But lseek first mthe kingdom of God and his righteousness, nand all these things will be added to you.

Matthew 10:19

19 oWhen pthey deliver you over, qdo not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for rwhat you are to say will be given to you in that hour.

Matthew 13:22

22As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but sthe cares of tthe world and uthe deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful.

Luke 10:41

41But the Lord answered her, Martha, Martha, you are vanxious and troubled about many things,

Luke 12:29
