Daniel 4:27

27Therefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable to you: break off your sins by apracticing righteousness, band your iniquities by showing mercy to the oppressed, cthat there may perhaps be a lengthening of your prosperity.”

Daniel 6:4-5

4Then dthe high officials and ethe satraps fsought to find a ground for complaint against Daniel with regard to the kingdom, gbut they could find no ground for complaint or any fault, because he was faithful, hand no error or fault was found in him. 5Then these men said, “We shall not find any ground for complaint against this Daniel unless we find it in connection with the law of his God.”

Romans 13:1

Submission to the Authorities

1Let every person ibe subject to the governing authorities. For jthere is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.

5Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God’s wrath but also kfor the sake of conscience.
