Daniel 4:30-31
30and the king answered and said, a“Is not this great Babylon, which I have built by bmy mighty power as a royal residence and for cthe glory of my majesty?” 31 dWhile the words were still in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, “O King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: The kingdom has departed from you,Daniel 5:20-21
20But ewhen his heart was lifted up and his spirit was hardened so that he dealt proudly, fhe was brought down from his kingly throne, and his glory was taken from him. 21 gHe was driven from among the children of mankind, and his mind was made like that of a beast, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. He was fed grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, huntil he knew that the iMost High God rules the kingdom of mankind and sets over it whom he will.1 Corinthians 1:29-31
29so jthat no human being ▼▼Greek no flesh
might boast in the presence of God. 30And because of him ▼▼Greek And from him
you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us mwisdom from God, nrighteousness and osanctification and predemption, 31so that, as it is written, q“Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 3:21
21So rlet no one boast in men. For sall things are yours,2 Corinthians 11:12
12And what I am doing I will continue to do, tin order to undermine the claim of those who would like to claim that in their boasted mission they work on the same terms as we do.2 Corinthians 12:10-11

11 xI have been a fool! You forced me to it, for I ought to have been commended by you. For I was ynot at all inferior to these super-apostles, zeven though I am nothing.
