Daniel 5:4-6

4 They drank wine and ^apraised the ^bgods of gold and silver, bronze, iron, wood, and stone.

5 ^cImmediately ^dthe fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the wall of the king’s palace, opposite the lampstand. And the king saw ^ethe hand as it wrote. 6 ^fThen the king’s color changed, ^gand his thoughts alarmed him; ^hhis limbs gave way, and ⁱhis knees knocked together.

Amos 8:10

10 ^jI will turn your feasts into mourning
and all your songs into lamentation;
^kI will bring sackcloth on every waist
^land baldness on every head;
^mI will make it like the mourning for an only son
and the end of it like a bitter day.

Nahum 1:10

10 For they are ⁿlike entangled thorns,
like drunkards as they drink;
^othey are consumed like stubble fully dried.

Matthew 22:11-13

11 “But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there ^pa man who had no wedding garment. 12 And he said to him, ^q‘Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. 13 Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Bind him hand and foot and ^rcast him into the outer darkness.
