Daniel 5:8

8Then all the king’s wise men came in, but athey could not read the writing or make known to the king the interpretation.

Daniel 5:15

15Now bthe wise men, the cenchanters, have been brought in before me to read this writing and make known to me its interpretation, but dthey could not show the interpretation of the matter.

Daniel 5:24-28

24Then from his presence ethe hand was sent, and this writing was inscribed. 25And this is the writing that was inscribed: Mene, Mene, Tekel, and Parsin. 26This is the interpretation of the matter: Mene, God has numbered
 Mene sounds like the Aramaic for  numbered
the days of your kingdom and brought it to an end;
27Tekel, gyou have been weighed
 Tekel sounds like the Aramaic for  weighed
in the balances and found wanting;
28Peres, your kingdom is divided and given to ithe Medes and jPersians.”
 Peres (the singular of  Parsin) sounds like the Aramaic for  divided and for Persia


Colossians 2:14

14by lcanceling mthe record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.

Revelation of John 20:12-15

12And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and nbooks were opened. Then another book was opened, which is othe book of life. And pthe dead were judged by what was written in the books, qaccording to what they had done. 13And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, rDeath and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, saccording to what they had done. 14Then tDeath and Hades uwere thrown into the lake of fire. This is vthe second death, the lake of fire. 15And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, whe was thrown into the lake of fire.
