Daniel 6:4-5

4Then athe high officials and bthe satraps csought to find a ground for complaint against Daniel with regard to the kingdom, dbut they could find no ground for complaint or any fault, because he was faithful, eand no error or fault was found in him. 5Then these men said, “We shall not find any ground for complaint against this Daniel unless we find it in connection with the law of his God.”

Matthew 7:3-5

3Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but fdo not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

Matthew 23:23-25

23 gWoe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For hyou tithe mint and dill and icumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: jjustice and mercy and faithfulness. kThese you ought to have done, without neglecting the others. 24You blind guides, straining out a gnat and swallowing la camel!

25 mWoe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For nyou clean the outside of othe cup and the plate, but inside they are full of pgreed and self-indulgence.
