Daniel 7:13-14

The Son of Man Is Given Dominion

13“I saw in the night visions,

and abehold, with the clouds of heaven
there came one like a son of man,
and he came to the bAncient of Days
and was presented before him.
14 cAnd to him was given dominion
and glory and a kingdom,
that all dpeoples, nations, and languages
should serve him;
ehis dominion is an everlasting dominion,
which shall not pass away,
and his kingdom one
that shall not be destroyed.

Matthew 9:6-8

6But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins—he then said to the paralyticRise, pick up your bed and go home.” 7And he rose and went home. 8When the crowds saw it, fthey were afraid, and gthey glorified God, who had hgiven such authority to men.

Matthew 16:13

Peter Confesses Jesus as the Christ

13 iNow when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”

John 5:20-27

20For jthe Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing. And kgreater works than these will he show him, so that lyou may marvel. 21For as the Father mraises the dead and ngives them life, so oalso the Son gives life pto whom he will. 22 qFor the Father judges no one, but rhas given all judgment to the Son, 23that all may honor the Son, just as they shonor the Father. tWhoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. 24Truly, truly, I say to you, uwhoever hears my word and vbelieves him who sent me has eternal life. He wdoes not come into judgment, but xhas passed from death to life.

25Truly, truly, I say to you, yan hour is coming, and is now here, when zthe dead will hear aathe voice of the Son of God, and those who hear abwill live. 26 acFor as the Father has life in himself, adso he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. 27And he aehas given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.

Acts 5:31

31God exalted afhim at his right hand as agLeader and ahSavior, aito give ajrepentance to Israel and akforgiveness of sins.

1 Timothy 1:13-16

13though formerly I was a blasphemer, alpersecutor, and insolent opponent. But amI received mercy anbecause I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, 14and aothe grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the apfaith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 15The saying is aqtrustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus arcame into the world to save sinners, asof whom I am the foremost. 16But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.
