Daniel 11:35-36

35 and some of the wise shall stumble, so that they may be refined, ^cpurified, and ^dmade white, until ^ethe time of the end, ^ffor it still awaits the appointed time.

36 “And the king shall ^gdo as he wills. ^hHe shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, ⁱand shall speak astonishing things against ^jthe God of gods. ^kHe shall prosper ^ltill the indignation is accomplished; for what is decreed shall be done.
