Daniel 8:21-25

21And athe goat
Or  the shaggy goat
is the king of Greece. And cthe great horn between his eyes is dthe first king.
22 eAs for the horn that was broken, in place of which four others arose, four kingdoms shall arise from his
Theodotion, Septuagint, Vulgate; Hebrew the
nation, gbut not with his power.
23And at the latter end of their kingdom, when the transgressors have reached their limit, a king of bold face, one who understands riddles, shall arise. 24His power shall be greathbut not by his own power; and he shall cause fearful destruction iand shall succeed in what he does, jand destroy mighty men and the people who are the saints. 25 kBy his cunning he shall make deceit prosper under his hand, and in his own mind lhe shall become great. mWithout warning he shall destroy many. And he nshall even rise up against the Prince of princes, and he shall be broken—but oby no human hand.

Daniel 11:32-34

32He shall seduce with flattery those who violate the covenant, but the people who know their God shall stand firm and take action. 33 pAnd the wise among the people shall make many understand, though for some days they shall stumble by sword and flame, by captivity and plunder. 34When they stumble, they shall receive a little help. And many shall join themselves to them with flattery,

Joel 3:6-8

6You have sold qthe people of Judah and Jerusalem to the Greeks in order to remove them far from their own border. 7Behold, I will stir them up from the place to which you have sold them, and rI will return your payment on your own head. 8I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the people of Judah, and they will sell them to the sSabeans, to a nation far away, for the Lord has spoken.”

Micah 4:2-3

2and many nations shall come, and say:
Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
to the house of the God of Jacob,
that he may teach us his ways
and that we may walk in his paths.”
For out of Zion shall go forth the law,
Or teaching

and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
3He shall judge between many peoples,
and shall decide disputes for strong nations far away;
and they shall ubeat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruning hooks;
nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
neither shall they learn war anymore;

Mark 16:15-20

15And he said to them, vGo into all the world and wproclaim the gospel to xthe whole creation. 16 yWhoever believes and is zbaptized aawill be saved, but abwhoever acdoes not believe will be condemned. 17And adthese signs will accompany those who believe: aein my name they will cast out demons; afthey will speak in new tongues; 18 agthey will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; ahthey will lay their hands aion the sick, and they will recover.”

19So then the Lord Jesus, ajafter he had spoken to them, akwas taken up into heaven and alsat down at the right hand of God. 20And they went out and preached everywhere, while amthe Lord worked with them and confirmed anthe message aoby accompanying signs.]]
