Daniel 8:24-25

24 His power shall be great— ^abut not by his own power; and he shall cause fearful destruction ^band shall succeed in what he does, ^cand destroy mighty men and the people who are the saints. 25 ^dBy his cunning he shall make deceit prosper under his hand, and in his own mind ^ehe shall become great. ^fWithout warning he shall destroy many. And he ^gshall even rise up against the Prince of princes, and he shall be broken—but ^hby no human hand.

Daniel 11:36

36 “And the king shall ⁱdo as he wills. ^jHe shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, ^kand shall speak astonishing things against ^lthe God of gods. ^mHe shall prosper ⁿtill the indignation is accomplished; for what is decreed shall be done.
