Daniel 8:25

25 ^aBy his cunning he shall make deceit prosper under his hand, and in his own mind ^bhe shall become great. ^cWithout warning he shall destroy many. And he ^dshall even rise up against the Prince of princes, and he shall be broken—but ^eby no human hand.

Daniel 11:40-45

40 ^f“At the time of the end, the king of the south shall attack ^{▼▼Hebrew thrust at} him, but the king of the north shall rush upon him ^hlike a whirlwind, with chariots and horsemen, and with many ships. And he shall come into countries and ⁱshall overflow and pass through. 41 He shall come into ^jthe glorious land. And tens of thousands shall fall, but these shall be delivered out of his hand: ^kEdom and ^lMoab and the main part of the ^mAmmonites. 42 He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 He shall become ruler of the treasures of gold and of silver, and all the precious things of Egypt, and the ⁿLibyans and the ^oCushites shall follow in his train. 44 But news from the east and the north shall alarm him, and he shall go out with great fury to destroy and devote many to destruction. 45 And he shall pitch his palatial tents between the sea and the glorious holy mountain. Yet he shall come to his end, with none to help him.

Joel 3:9-14

9 Proclaim this among the nations:

stir up the mighty men.
Let all the men of war draw near;
let them come up.
10 ^rBeat your plowshares into swords,
and ^syour pruning hooks into spears;
let the weak say, “I am a warrior.”
11 ^tHasten and come,
all you surrounding nations,
and gather yourselves there.
^uBring down your warriors, O Lord.
12 Let the nations stir themselves up
and come up to ^vthe Valley of Jehoshaphat;
^wfor there I will sit to judge
all the surrounding nations.
13 ^xPut in the sickle,
^yfor the harvest is ripe.
^zGo in, tread,
^aafor the winepress is full.
The vats overflow,
for their evil is great.
14 Multitudes, multitudes,
in the valley of decision!
For ^abthe day of the Lord is near
in the valley of decision.
