are decreed about your people and cyour holy city, to finish dthe transgression, to put an end to sin, eand to atone for iniquity, fto bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and gto anoint a most holy place.

Romans 3:25-26

25whom God iput forward as ja propitiation kby his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in lhis divine forbearance he had passed over mformer sins. 26It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
