Daniel 9:26-27
26And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall abe cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come bshall destroy the city and the sanctuary. cIts ▼▼Or His
end shall come with a flood, eand to the end there shall be war. fDesolations are decreed. 27And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, ▼▼Or seven; twice in this verse
and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. hAnd on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until ithe decreed end is poured out on the desolator.” Luke 21:5-6
Jesus Foretells Destruction of the Temple
5 jAnd while some were speaking of the temple, how it was adorned with noble stones and offerings, he said, 6“As for these things that you see, kthe days will come when there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”Luke 21:24
24They will fall by the edge of the sword and lbe led captive among all nations, and mJerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, nuntil the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
