Deuteronomy 12:2-6

2 aYou shall surely destroy all the places where the nations whom you shall dispossess served their gods, bon the high mountains and on the hills and under every green tree. 3You shall tear down their altars and dash in pieces ctheir pillars and burn their dAsherim with fire. You shall chop down the carved images of their gods and edestroy their name out of that place. 4 fYou shall not worship the Lord your God in that way. 5But you shall seek gthe place that the Lord your God will choose out of all your tribes to put his name and make his habitation

there. There you shall go,
6and there you shall bring your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, iyour tithes and the contribution that you present, your vow offerings, your freewill offerings, and the jfirstborn of your herd and of your flock.

Deuteronomy 12:13-14

13 kTake care that you do not offer your burnt offerings at any place that you see, 14but at lthe place that the Lord will choose in one of your tribes, there you shall offer your burnt offerings, and there you shall do all that I am commanding you.

2 Kings 18:4

4 mHe removed the high places and broke the npillars and cut down othe Asherah. And he broke in pieces pthe bronze serpent that Moses had made, for until those days the people of Israel had made offerings to it (it was called Nehushtan).
 Nehushtan sounds like the Hebrew for both  bronze and  serpent

2 Chronicles 30:14

14They set to work and removed rthe altars that were in Jerusalem, and all the altars for burning incense they took away sand threw into the brook Kidron.

Hezekiah Organizes the Priests

1Now when all this was finished, all Israel who were present went out to the cities of Judah and tbroke in pieces the upillars and cut down vthe Asherim and broke down the high places and the altars throughout all Judah and Benjamin, and in Ephraim and Manasseh, until they had destroyed them all. Then all the people of Israel returned to their cities, every man to his possession.

2 Chronicles 32:12

12 wHas not this same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, “Before one altar you shall worship, and on it you shall burn your sacrifices”?
