Deuteronomy 13:1-2

1If a prophet or aa dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, 2and bthe sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, ‘Let us go after other gods,’ which you have not known, ‘and let us serve them,’

1 Kings 18:19

19Now therefore send and gather all Israel to me at Mount cCarmel, and the d450 prophets of Baal and ethe 400 prophets of Asherah, fwho eat at Jezebel’s table.”

1 Kings 18:27

27And at noon Elijah mocked them, saying, “Cry aloud, for he is a god. Either he is musing, or he is relieving himself, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and must be awakened.”

1 Kings 18:40

40And Elijah said to them, “Seize the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape.” And they seized them. And Elijah brought them down to gthe brook Kishon and hslaughtered them there.

Jeremiah 2:8

8The priests did not say, ‘Where is the Lord?’
iThose who handle the law did not know me;
jthe shepherds
Or rulers
transgressed against me;
lthe prophets prophesied by Baal
and went after mthings that do not profit.

Jeremiah 28:15-17

15And Jeremiah the prophet said to the prophet Hananiah, “Listen, Hananiah, nthe Lord has not sent you, oand you have made this people trust in a lie. 16Therefore thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will remove you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, pbecause you have uttered rebellion against the Lord.’”

17In that same year, in the seventh month, the prophet Hananiah died.

Zechariah 13:3

3And if anyone again prophesies, his father and mother who bore him will say to him, q‘You shall not live, for you speak lies in the name of the Lord.’ And his father and mother who bore him shall pierce him through when he prophesies.

Revelation of John 19:20

20And the beast was captured, and with it rthe false prophet swho in its presence
Or on its behalf
had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who uworshiped its image. These two were vthrown alive into the lake of wfire that burns with sulfur.
